C&C: Vaccine Distribution Planning and Implementation
Grab your favorite morning beverage, turn on your camera and come have an open, candid hour-long conversation about how COVID-19 is impacting you, your work, and anything and everything in between. This Converse and Convene: COVID-19 will focus on questions related to vaccine distribution planning and implementation. Please note this event is not recorded and is intended for members to have an open, candid discussion around the selected topic.
Discussion Questions:
- For HCP prioritization, how did you identify your first “tier” of personnel to be offered vaccine? How did you manage other HCP who were unhappy when they perceived someone “at less risk” than they were, going before them?
- Did your health system include staff not employed by the system? Were you able to only include medical staff, or other non-employee HCP as well (students, contracted staff, etc.)?
- How did you work to overcome vaccine hesitancy, particularly among lower-wage workers or those from disadvantaged communities?
- If you could start over, what would you do differently? What worked particularly well?
- What were your biggest barriers to roll-out?
