Healthcare Executive Perspectives on IPC Work

December 31, 2025

Description

This webinar will start with a panel discussion composed of healthcare executives. We will discuss their perspectives on how IPC work fits in their overall hospital operations, how budgeting decisions are made, and what elements of IPC they pay most attention to. Panelists will also discuss the importance of collaboration between IPC professionals and the broader healthcare team in aligning infection prevention efforts with institutional goals. After this panel, participants will join interprofessional breakout discussion to explore challenges and solutions to building effective IPC programs in different healthcare settings (e.g. academic centers, community hospitals, critical access hospitals, standalone ambulatory facilities). These discussions will emphasize the role of teamwork in advocating for resources, integrating IPC strategies across disciplines, and fostering a culture of infection prevention within healthcare organizations.
