On-Demand | Bridging the Gap: Effective MDRO Prevention Education for Post-Discharge Care
Description
This program aims to educate the healthcare personnel who provide patient or staff education on principles, needs assessment, and methods for effective education to prevent the spread of multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO) beyond the healthcare facility. Upon patient discharge from a healthcare facility, instructions on methods to prevent MDRO spread have been inconsistent or lacking. These instructions are designed to educate patient caregivers on prevention of MDRO spread in their home setting while continuing normal daily functions, and to educate healthcare providers caring for patients with MDRO in a healthcare facility or Home Health care.
