C&C: Post-election Environment and its Implications for Healthcare Epi, IP & Antimicrobial Stewardship

Converse & Convene is a virtual networking forum moderated by SHEA member experts who will lead and facilitate discussion and collaboration. Participants will be able to share challenges, lessons learned, and gain greater insight not only with their breakout groups but with a larger group discussion directly following and lead by the moderators.
 
We will begin with an introduction of the topic before moving into breakout rooms. The conversation will focus on the following questions, but please feel free to bring your own questions, ideas, and stories.

  1. What are you hearing about the upcoming administration's health policy priorities, and how might they affect SHEA's federal health policy agenda?
  2. What strategies can organizations like SHEA use to effectively navigate and adapt to an administrative shift while maintaining focus on their priorities?
  3. How can SHEA members engage with emerging policies that may have implications for public health and medical research?
