Mandatory Module

This module focuses on hand hygiene technique and strategies for improving compliance. Hand hygiene is the most important measure to prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). All healthcare personnel have responsibility in maintaining compliance with hand hygiene. In this module, the participants will gain understanding of the “how, when, and why” of hand hygiene, including overcoming barriers to compliance.
