This webinar is part of the Compendium of Strategies to Prevent HAIs series. This webinar will review the 2022/2023 updates to the SHEA VAP/VAE/NV-HAP guidelines with focus on the challenges of HAP diagnosis, the panel’s framework & criteria for making recommendations, and thorniest issues including oral care with chlorhexidine, subglottic secretion drainage, selective digestive decontamination, and NV-HAP prevention.
