Converse & Convene: AUR Reporting
Converse & Convene: AUR Reporting
- Can you share how your facility currently uses the NHSN antimicrobial use and resistance (AUR) module to assist in Antimicrobial Stewardship or Infection Prevention program operations?
- Describe and share what internal/external partners and helpful resources you have engaged (or plan to engage) to plan for your facility to meet the CMS Promoting Interoperability standard in reporting AUR to NHSN in 2024 (e.g. EHR vendor resources?)
- What barriers have you encountered so far in reporting? Do you believe your facility will meet the 2024 deadline on time?
- Do you have plans, hopes, or a future ideal vision for the data your hospital contributes or receives by participating NHSN AUR reporting? What about concerns, fears, or questions?
- What specific information do you believe is missing or needs further clarification from NHSN or CMS about the new requirement?
