The SHEA Education Committee has developed a structured Infection Prevention curriculum with defined learning objectives that can be used by fellowship programs and individuals seeking focused training in the field.

To support learners at different stages of experience, the curriculum is offered through two pathways: Basic and Advanced.

These pathways are designed to help build foundational knowledge as well as expand expertise for those with more experience in infection prevention. Each pathway includes a set of core requirements, along with optional tasks and activities that participants may choose from to complete their pathway requirements.
