A Practical Guide to Providing Infection Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship Consultative Services in Healthcare Settings
This webinar will provide an overview of different models hospital epidemiologist and healthcare facilities (including small and critical access hospitals, long-term care facilities and outpatient centers) can choose from when setting up a consultative service for supporting infection control and antimicrobial stewardship programs. The presenters will highlight the pros and cons of each model. Key points related to contract negotiations, time commitment, and program implementation strategies for these models will also be discussed. Additionally, participants will be able to find out about the tools and resources that are available for setting up consultative services.
