This is a two-part course designed to equip Infection Preventionists, Healthcare Epidemiologists, physicians, nurses, advanced practice clinicians, and pharmacists with foundational quality improvement (QI) principles, methodologies, and tools that enhance their ability to drive meaningful change. Participants will learn how to apply QI strategies to infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and diagnostic stewardship initiatives, leverage human factors engineering for safer processes, and collaborate effectively with QI, patient safety teams and other frontline clinicians and team members within their organizations. Through interactive sessions and case-based examples, learners will gain practical skills to improve outcomes and strengthen interdisciplinary partnerships.
