An Update on AGPs: Lessons from the Pandemic & Implications for the Future

In this webinar, the speakers will review the emerging data on aerosol generating procedures (AGPs) with specific attention to studies quantifying aerosol generation and airborne SARS-CoV-2 concentrations associated with different procedures. The speakers will review the spectrum of procedures classified as AGPs, studies on health care provider infection rates associated with different AGPs, and the impact the current AGP framework has on daily operations in health care settings including testing requirements, isolation policies, and personal protective equipment for providers, staff, and visitors.
