Description

Diagnostic stewardship interventions can have significant impacts on patient care, healthcare costs, and hospital operations. As DSPs evolve, new trends are reshaping the field—from using artificial intelligence and machine learning to support decision-making, to expanding stewardship beyond hospital walls into outpatient and community care. This session will focus on some of the fundamental principles of diagnostic stewardship and highlight evidence from the literature on its impact at both the patient and hospital level.
