Leveraging Patient Safety Culture & Clinical Team Engagement to Reduce HAIs

Description

This two-part course will introduce healthcare epidemiologists and infection prevention personnel to the key tenets of patient safety culture for developing and executing team-based interventions to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). This includes an overview of patient safety principles and the link between patient safety culture and clinical outcomes. The course will also provide practical tools and guidance for working within healthcare teams, engaging frontline clinicians to implement infection prevention initiatives to reduce HAIs.
